• iv. Joseph married Hannah Bosworth at Hull, Plymouth, Mass. He was born on 10 May 1646 at Hingham, Mass. He died on 9 Feb 1707 at Bristol, Mass, at age 60.

5. Benjamin⁵ Jacob (Joseph⁴, Peter³, John², Nicholas¹) was born on 30 Aug 1744. He married Susanna Beal, daughter of Elijah Beal and Sarah Jones, on 24 Oct 1765. He died on 18 Mar 1788 at age 43.

Children of Benjamin⁵ Jacob and Susanna Beal were:

• 6. i. Susannah⁶, born 13 Mar 1766; married Ensign Barnes.

Generation Six

6. Susannah⁶ Jacob (Benjamin⁵, Joseph⁴, Peter³, John², Nicholas¹) was born on 13 Mar 1766. She married Ensign Barnes, son of John Barnes and Margaret Curtis, on 8 Oct 1786. She died on 30 Jan 1849 at age 82.

Children of Susannah⁶ Jacob and Ensign Barnes were:

• i. Helen M.⁷ was born on 27 Aug 1807. She married Henry Kenney Horton, son of Gideon Horton and Temperance Kenney, on 23 Jun 1834. She died on 18 Oct 1877 at age 70.
